Biography

West Loop — Waving goodbye to the corporate world, Erin Gallagher and her mother Cathy Gallagher started a dynamic partnership. The pair began with a handful of stones and slowly fashioned a hobby into a business. Less than one year old, the small endeavor grew from a kitchen table operation to Bloomingdales.

Energized by achievement and inspired by each other, the duo was poised for success. Tragically the other shoe dropped. Cathy Gallagher died suddenly from advanced colorectal cancer. Motivated by her mother’s love and confidence Erin continued to design.

Today Erin continues to design jewelry from her Chicago studio, constantly seeking inspiration to push her designs in new directions, but never forgetting to inspire the glamour girl in all of us.
