Biography

I have always been drawn to textiles, especially vintage, and whenever I attended an antique show or flea market I would find myself lingering in the booths that displayed charming old fabric, worn lace, unique buttons and trims of any kind. I inevitably left those shows with purchases that would wind up stashed away on my shelves at home. I became an insatiable collector.

Now I am more than a collector. I am a designer and was recently named one of Chicago’s Top Emerging Designers of 2006. I am able to draw upon my business experience in sales and marketing to use all those beautiful fabrics and trims to create new fashion accessories.
