Bucktown — BOCUE was founded in 2003 by Theresa Buffo (a practicing graphic designer at the time) as a handmade handbag and accessory line with strong creative spirit. The company’s focus then and now is on producing well-crafted items – from the fit on the body, to the weight of the materials, to the closures and stitching. Elegant yet practical design is evident in the fresh silhouettes, vibrant color and texture combinations, and durable fabrication – no hardware or excessive detailing. Collections are produced in limited editions to preserve this artisanal craftsmanship while keeping new ideas flowing and evolving.
