Anke Loh

Biography

Anke Loh’s approach to fashion reflects the culture in which she engages. She launched her biannual collection from 2000 – 2005 in Antwerp, Belgium, where she was trained and also designed costumes for theatre and dance companies.
In 2005 she was invited by The School of The Art Institute of Chicago – Fashion Department.
Her newest project, featuring textiles that emit and reflect light, drew international acclaim. In it, she found ways to integrate improbable industrial fibers, movement and light technologies.
She has collaborated with textile artists, filmmakers, dancers, among others.
